Part 1 : Elon Musk and the King Cyrus Phenomenon

The American prophetic movement and the Israel government have anointed Donald Trump God's modern King Cyrus.  They have greatly misinterpreted Isaiah 45. Let me make the case for Elon Musk and the strategic growth of the Kingdom of God as a king Cyrus phenomenon.

 

In 2016 months before the presidential election Lance Wallnau wrties a small best seller book naming Donald Trump as God's man for president comparing him to king Cyrus, a heathen king who knew not the God of Israel but one prophesied to defeat Babylon, release Israel from captivity and help them rebuild Jerusalem. The word went out like wildfire among the Charismatic-Evangelical community. Isaiah 45 describing Cyrus is a description of the next 45th president of America....Donald Trump. 

 

It is well known that the millions of evangelicals who turned out to vote for Trump made the final difference in votes in close toss-up states for Trump to beat Hillary Clinton. And it is also well known that Trump paid back that vote with unwavering support for Israel with Netanyahu joining the acclaim that Trump is God's modern day king Cyrus with commemorative coin of Trump and Cyrus on the coin.

 

What does this have to do with Elon Musk? I want to give you an alternative explanation of a modern day king Cyrus.  But I need to explain to you from scripture the prophetic importance of what I will call "The Kings Cyrus Phenomenon".  This will help you to understand the great consternation in the American evangelical movement as the whole "Trump is God's Cyrus" is going horribly wrong.

And if you can understand the incredible importance of Isaiah 45 and what the Cyrus prophetic was really about then you will understand the wonderful opportunities that are opening up to the church when God raises up a technology/financial king Cyrus to further the work of the Church for the new world order now emerging.

 

The King Cyrus Prophecy Background

 

Isaiah wrote his great prophetic book during the reign of kings Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz and Hezekiah. That would be about 150 years before Cyrus was born.  By the time that Israel was taken in captivity by the Assyrians in 721 BC and the kingdom of Judah taken by the Babylonians in 604 BC and Jerusalem and the temple destroyed by the Babylon.....all the great prophecies of Israel's great future were literally nowhere to be seen.

 

This became a crisis for the few remaining who were captive in Babylon. How can you go on believe our God Yahweh is the only God, all powerful and greater than any other gods. How can you still have faith? Where  is our God? No land, no nation, no priesthood, no king, no Temple.  

 

For such a crisis time God had prepared a prophecy for the last remnant of Israel still left in Babylon. It was Isaiah 45.  There is a king coming by the name of Cyrus and this is what he will do.

 

Now put yourself in the position of a no hope Israelite in Babylon wondering whatever happened to our God and what happened to all His promises to our people Israel?

 

Isaiah 45-46 is a mighty declaration of God where He claims.....

Isa 45:5-12  I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:  That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else.  I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things   Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the LORD have created it.  Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?  Woe unto him that saith unto his father, What begettest thou? or to the woman, What hast thou brought forth?   Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.   I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.

 

Now you are an Israelite slave in Babylon and you are striving like a pot to the potter "Where are you God? If you are so great why are we slaves to heathens? Are Babylon's gods greater than our God?"

 

God makes further declarations in chapter 46....
Isa 46:9  Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,  Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:   Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.

 

Here God declares I am God there is no one like me, I am sovereign over all, I declare the end from the beginning because I am sovereign over all. And to prove this to you I will call a ravenous bird of a man from the east and he will execute my plan from a far country, I spoke it, I will do it because I am sovereign over all meaning I can do what I plan to do.

 

And what proof do I provide you that I know the future and in fact control the history of man and nations? I will name the man......Cyrus!  150 years ahead of time.

 

Now in this important two chapters the Lord makes it plain what His plan is for the nations and He says what Cyrus is to do towards this plan...

 

The plan of God for the nations....

Isa 45:21  .... I am the LORD and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me.  Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.  I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. And repeated by Hebrews 14:11...every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord.

 

And in Isaiah 45: 18 God's plan for the cosmos that he created....

Isa 45:18  For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.

God's plan for both earth and the heavens is that they are created to be inhabited! Meaning God wants families created to inhabit the earth and the cosmos He has created. That implies the endless growth of the kingdom of God from earth into the galaxies.

 

God's plan for his named king Cyrus to move the Lord's Kingdom further on earth....

 

Isa 44:28  That saith of Cyrus, He is my shepherd, and shall perform all my pleasure: even saying to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be built; and to the temple, Thy foundation shall be laid.

Isa 45:1-5Thus saith the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut;  I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:  And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.  For Jacob my servant's sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me.   I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:

 

And did this happen? Yes Ezra in 458 BC had this to say about what Cyrus did for the restoration of Jerusalem and the Temple....

Ezr 1:1  Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying,

       Ezr 1:2  Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, The LORD God of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he hath charged me to build him an house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah.

       Ezr 1:3  Who is there among you of all his people? his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of the LORD God of Israel, (he is the God,) which is in Jerusalem.

       Ezr 1:4  And whosoever remaineth in any place where he sojourneth, let the men of his place help him with silver, and with gold, and with goods, and with beasts, beside the freewill offering for the house of God that is in Jerusalem.

      Ezr 1:5  Then rose up the chief of the fathers of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests, and the Levites, with all them whose spirit God had raised, to go up to build the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem.

      Ezr 1:6  And all they that were about them strengthened their hands with vessels of silver, with gold, with goods, and with beasts, and with precious things, beside all that was willingly offered.

       Ezr 1:7  Also Cyrus the king brought forth the vessels of the house of the LORD, which Nebuchadnezzar had brought forth out of Jerusalem, and had put them in the house of his gods;

       Ezr 1:8  Even those did Cyrus king of Persia bring forth by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, and numbered them unto Sheshbazzar, the prince of Judah.

       Ezr 1:9  And this is the number of them: thirty chargers of gold, a thousand chargers of silver, nine and twenty knives,

      Ezr 1:10  Thirty basons of gold, silver basons of a second sort four hundred and ten, and other vessels a thousand.

      Ezr 1:11  All the vessels of gold and of silver were five thousand and four hundred. All these did Sheshbazzar bring up with them of the captivity that were brought up from Babylon unto Jerusalem.

When Daniel showed Cyrus after he conquered Babylon what the scriptures of Israel said about him he knew God had given him an assignment.  And he did it.
- Release God's people
- Give them royal authority to return to their inheritance and rebuild a new Jerusalem and a new Temple.
- Give them all the financial help they need and return to them all the stolen wealth of the Temple.

Because my people and Jerusalem have a work to do....all nations must be brought to repentance and the knowledge of the Lord so that every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Yashuah is Lord.

 

The King Cyrus Phenomenon

 

Back when God wanted Moses to build the first Tabernacle we find an interesting phenomenon.  The first time that scripture mentions a man upon whom the Spirit of God comes.....

Exo 31:1  And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

Exo 31:2  See, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah:  And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,   To devise cunning works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,   And in cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of timber, to work in all manner of workmanship.  And I, behold, I have given with him Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan: and in the hearts of all that are wise hearted I have put wisdom, that they may make all that I have commanded thee;

God pours our His Holy Spirit on a man and his skilled team to do a job....build His Tabernacle. This man was neither a priest or prophet or king.

 

He was a man with a skill and the Spirit of God came on him and his team and they used their skills to build the Temple of God.

 

God created Cyrus and gave him skills in leadership and war and strategy. He was able to gather and army of soldiers to do his bidding and fulfill his destiny that God called him to do.

 

God gave him skills and authority and riches to enable him to advance God's agenda for His people.  Even though he did not know God.

This is the King Cyrus Phenomenon.  God has called out some of the most improbable people in the world and given them slill sets that must be used to further the Kingdom agenda of His Church.  And they don't know it. But we need to see it understand it and get God's vision on how we can use the wealth and knowledge now being created for God's Kingdom.

 

If we don't understand the signs of he times and the Kingdom agenda for our generation we are going to miss an amazing time and potential for advancement.

 

My problem with the Evangelical - Charismatic Eschatology

 

Because they are stuck in an end time Antichrist rules the earth and Israel are the end time people of God...they entirely do not understand the real king Cyrus's that God is raising up in the world today to advance the Kingdom Agenda.

 

For them Donald Trump is king Cyrus and he is called to bless Israel. So when Netanyahu says Iran is an enemy of God's people you must join us to destroy God's enemies. And so we have the Iran war.  Has this been a wonderful blessing for Trump, his presidency and America?  Has the mass killings of the people of Gaza been God's plan to bless Israel and Trump their Cyrus to supply them now with 40,000 more 2000 lb bombs for more destruction?

 

And because they miss the Kingdom vision of our time they are obsessed with end times, Armageddon, Antichrist, rapture etc. And because they do not know who the Israel of God is in the earth today they cannot identify who God's Cyrus's are to bless His Israel to possess their inheritance and build the real mew Jerusalem and real new Temple of God on earth.

 

There is no appreciation of the sheer power and sovereignty of God.  God raises up and puts down He controls the destiny of nations, corporations, technology, tech billionaires, politicians. Not Satan, not the Antichrist. Therefore they cannot identify who is called to help us liberate planet earth and Every knee must bow to the Name of Jesus.  All forms of wealth whether monetary or knowledge to technology must be directed to God's Kingdom agenda.

 

This can only be done if we can recognize who God is raising up with skills of technology of money, authority and power and how we can divert that into building new Jerusalems and the Temple of God on earth, His Church. That is the Israel of God that is being liberated. That is the Israel of God who is going to bring the Kingdom message to the world,

 

And it is our responsibility to show the Cyrus's of the earth God's plan for them and their gifts and skills.

 

One of the key king Cyrus's on earth today is Elon Musk. I have been studying him and his companies and what skills and tech and breakthroughs he has done and is planning and I am excited about the possibilities for the Kingdom of God. I believe God has raised up him and his teams of corporations to create the kind of wealth and technology we are going to need in the new world order to realize God's Kingdom plan that every knee must bow ,,,and Babylon must fall to liberate God's people for His purposes.
